Conflict-Free Minerals Compliance
In unstable regions, trading certain minerals can fund armed groups and lead to forced labor. These “Conflict Minerals” include tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold. The Democratic Republic of Congo and nearby countries are especially affected. Bausch Health is committed not to support the human rights violations that arise from Conflict Minerals.
Bausch Health has a Global Policy for Conflict-Free Minerals Compliance and performs extensive Due Diligence efforts in alignment with the framework developed by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Bausch Health promotes the traceability of these minerals and the transparency of our chain.
